Huawei launches the first commercial 5G module supporting dual-mode network

On Wednesday, Huawei released the first commercial 5G industrial module – MH5000 for the industrial field with a single-piece price of 999 CNY (140 USD).

Zhi Hao, head of Huawei’s consumer business group IoT product line introduces a 5G module at the 5G product launch press conference in Shenzhen and said that the 5G industrial module is very cheap, very advance, and released at consumer business conference due to its importance.

The Huawei 5G Module is powered by 7nm processed Balong 5000 chip with downlink up to 2Gbps and uplink up to 230Mbps. This module supports NSA/SA dual-mode network architecture.

Huawei will also provide three levels of service support, a set of SDK tools and Developer support.
