Huawei launches Mate XT tri-fold for global consumers
Huawei today launches the Mate XT triple foldable smartphone for global consumers. After a long wait, the company has introduced the tri-folding handset outside China. It is packed with eye-catching features and top-notch tech capabilities.

Hinge: The Mate XT uses an Advanced Precision Hinge System. It offers precise coordination and delicate dual-hinge movement for a smooth and seamless opening-closing mechanism.

Huawei Mate XT is a three-screen folding device. The diagonal length of the single screen is 6.4 inches while the dual and triple screens measure 7.9-inch and 10.2-inch respectively.

The company has used OLED panels with a 90Hz refresh rate, 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 382 PPI, and 240Hz touch sampling rate for clear visuals. Other features are 3K ultra-high resolution and a P3 wide color gamut.
Internal Parameters
Mate XT global variant debuts with the EMUI 14.2 operating system. It may contain a set of new interactive themes, SuperHub 2.0, and more. It also brings MultiView Mode that eases multitasking for users. For chipset, it uses Kirin 9010 5G. The tri-fold global unit sports 16GB RAM and 1TB storage option.
Camera
Huawei has used triple camera setup for the Mate XT Ultimate Design. The lens arrangement includes a 50MP main camera ultra-aperture (f/1.4-4.0 aperture + OIS), a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens (f/2.2), and a 12MP periscope camera sensor (f/3.4).
The periscope camera supports 5.5x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom. The front side has an 8MP selfie camera (f/2.2 aperture) with multiple shooting modes.
Battery and Charging
Mate XT triple foldable equips a 5600mAh thinnest (1.9mm) battery. Users can enjoy a long time on their innovative handset without worrying about the battery drain. You can charge the cell with a Max 66W super-fast charger or use 50W wireless charging.
Price and Availability
Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design is open for pre-order in Malaysia. It will go live on sale on 15 March. The device costs RM 14999. But users can also opt for installment methods by paying RM 1249.92 for twelve months.
