Huawei today introduced the Qingyun HM940 commercial PC powered by HarmonyOS. It is the first Qingyun device to feature the company’s self-developed operating system instead of Windows or Linux. Let’s check the specifications in detail.

According to the official details, the device comes in two colors: Clear Blue and Inkstone Black. It has a sleek and simple design, just like other Qingyun notebooks. Although the change is the HarmonyOS Smart Badge at the top.

Qingyun HM940 has a dimension of 310 x 222 x 13.5mm and weighs 970 grams. It features a 14.2-inch OLED anti-reflective screen with a resolution of 3120 x 2080 pixels, 264 PPI, 1000 nits peak brightness, and a static refresh rate of 60/120Hz.

The device supports a 93% screen-to-body ratio, 100% sRGB, and a P3 wide color gamut. It has a 178-degree viewing angle and supports 10-point touch.

Features

Huawei has used Super Celia Business AI assistant. It can collaborate with Pro-apps to automatically create PPTs, mind maps creatively. Other AI functions are:

  • Image Interaction: It lets you extract texts and tables from the picture.
  • Voice Dialogue: Use voice commands at any time without any need for manual input.
  • Text Communication: Enter text to talk to Celia, whether it’s questions or interest-related talks.
  • Huawei Share: Share documents, pictures, videos, without compression or loss of information.
  • App Continuation: Auto syncs apps on phones to PC, allowing for uninterrupted meetings and communications across devices.
  • Hand-eye Coordination: The cursor and keyboard will automatically follow the device you are looking at.
  • Super Privacy Switch: A switch on the right side of the PC can turn off the camera, mic, and location.

Speaking of the battery, Huawei Qingyun HM940 has a 70Wh lithium polymer battery. It can be powered up with a 140W dual-core fast charger. It can charge up to 70% in 30 minutes and supports 66W super-fast reverse charging.

It has 2 USB-C ports on the left with a maximum power supply of 10W, and a USB-C port on the right with a maximum power supply of 66W. It attaches a full-size backlit keyboard, touchpad, and fingerprint power button

HM940 has 24GB/32GB RAM and 512GB/1TV internal storage. It has an integrated graphics processing unit. The device supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.2, supports Nearlink connection, 6 speakers, 4 mics, and Huawei SOUND.
