Huawei launches 40W candy charger with USB-A and C fusion ports

Today, Huawei has launched a new 40W candy rock all-around charger at 139 yuan (19 USD). The official description said that this is the first model certified with Universal Fast Charging Specification (UFCS) protocol and compatible with multi-brand smartphones.

Talking about the design, the Huawei 40W candy charger weighs 52 grams and has an innovative precision stacking structure. The charger has a power density of up to 1.19W/cm3.

It uses GaN co-packaged chips and mini planar transformers to reduce the product volume by nearly 48 percent.
