Huawei has recently seeded a new screenshot feature with a phone frame feature for the Huawei P60 series and Mate X3. This is an entirely new concept for the Huawei devices.

According to the information, the latest screenshot with the phone frame feature will allow you to capture the entire screen with the frame of the smartphone. This includes the hole punch for selfies and the bezels around the display with corners.

The functionality remains based on the current options including a swipe or button combination. Huawei aimed for such a feature as an extra addition to improving the user experience.

Availability:

Currently, Huawei screenshot with phone frame feature is available only for two devices – Huawei P60 Series and Mate X3. It’s possible that it may roll out for other smartphone models with a software update.

Currently, Huawei smartphones come with numerous options to take a screenshot and record screens. These include side buttons, just tap and hold on the volume down, and a power key. This will do the trick.

Screenshot Switch:

To provide convenience, Huawei phones come with a screenshot switch right into the control panel and quick settings. Tap on the feature to initiate its functionality for on-screen content.

Grabshot:

This is a feature for gesture recognition sensor smartphones such as the Huawei Mate 50 series and Mate 40 series. All you need to do is to place your hand half an arm’s length away from the screen with your palm facing the screen and clench your fist to capture the screen.

Knuckle screenshots:

It was first introduced with Huawei smartphones and you can take a screenshot with just a tap of a knuckle on the display. Tap twice to take a screenshot or knock with a single knuckle and hold to draw an “S” to mark the scrolling screen.
