Huawei Kirin 9000 GPU beats Qualcomm Snapdragon 888

Back in October, Huawei launched the latest flagship, Mate 40 series. This lineup is packed with the most advanced camera capabilities, display quality, and premium design. Other than these specs, these phones come with the new 5nm processed – Kirin 9000 and 9000E.

Kirin 9000 and 9000E has an Octa-core architecture including 1 x Cortex [email protected] GHz, 3 x [email protected] GHz, 4 x [email protected] GHz. In terms of GPU, the Kirin 9000 uses 24-core Mali-G78 and the Kirin 9000E features a 22-core Mali-G78 GPU.

Huawei has installed the Kirin 9000E only in the standard version of the Mate 40 lineup. On the other side, the Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro+, and Mate 40 RS equip Kirin 9000.

Regarding this matter, a benchmark score has recently been surfaced after the launch of Xiaomi’s latest flagship – Mi 11. This phone comes packed with the latest Qualcomm processor – Snapdragon 888, which is 5G capable and also processed with 5nm technology.

In the benchmark performed using 3D Mark OpenGL ES 3.1, Huawei Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro has clearly beaten the Xiaomi Mi 11. According to the information, Kirin 9000E scored 8771 points, Mate 40 Pro scored 9065 points, while the Snapdragon 888 scored 8546 points.
