Huawei Kids Watch 4X gets 1.3.0.228 update

Huawei has released a new update for Kids Watch 4X and 4X special edition and it comes with firmware version 1.3.0.228. The update aims to improve the kids’ watch and its features.

Specifically, the changelog mentions that 1.3.0.228 firmware fixes the problem of not counting steps in certain scenarios. Therefore, it’s recommended that you get this version. Also, this new update is released in batches and may take some time to cover all of the selected models.

Huawei Kids Watch 4x series with firmware 1.3.0.226 will receive a 1.3.0.228 update.

The Kids Watch 4X special edition users with 1.3.0.198/1.3.0.206 will get a new upgrade with the following changelog.

Notes:

Due to version restrictions, you first need to download the base software version 1.3.0.198/1.3.0.206/1.3.0.226. Otherwise, you won’t receive a new version upgrade.
