Huawei July 2022 update for MatePad 11 adds support for Multi-Camera mode

Huawei has finally turned its face towards the MatePad 11 and has started sending the July 2022 HarmonyOS update. It is great news for the respective device owners, as the tablet is finally receiving new firmware after waiting for 11 months.
Yes, you read it right. Its been a long while since the Chinese manufacturer has sent any updates to the mentioned smart gadget. Over time, the users were expecting to gain the January 2022 security patch, but for some unknown reasons, the company marked a full stop to the users’ anticipations.
Yet, seems like the long wait is worth it. Consequently, the latest July 2022 HarmonyOS update for Huawei MatePad 11 brings a bunch of optimizations for the users. Besides, it adds some new features to the device and uplifts the user experience to the next level.

The new firmware is approaching the global market for the MatePad 11 tablet with version 2.0.0.251 (C432E2R2P1). Alongside, the build holds a package size of 1.22GB. That itself proves that there are various new improvements and additions for the smart gadget.
Apart from the July 2022 security patch, the update brings the support of the Super Device function that allows connecting several devices at a time. Further, it lets you connect your tablet to Huawei Watch, bracelet, and MateView models. You can also link the Huawei Vision and Bluetooth headset through this function.
Next, we have the dynamic Multi-Camera mode in the changelog list. It lets you shoot the images from different angles through a nearby phone or tablet. But this needs assurance that other devices are also having support for the same feature.

- Added Multi-Camera mode. This feature allows you to capture images or videos from multiple angles using the camera of a nearby phone or tablet.
- You can preview the footage and remotely control the camera of the other device.
Note: Other devices must support Multi-camera mode.

Huawei AITO M5 and M5 EV will get HarmonyOS 3

During the Huawei P60 series launch event, Huawei Smart Car Business Cheif, Yu Chengdong announced that all AITO smart car models will get HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system by the end of this month.
HarmonyOS 3 for these AITO M5 cars will bring new features including a super home screen and smart car search. The net recommendation score of Huawei M5 car owners is 86.4%
Huawei also announced that the M5 and M5 EV high-end autonomous driving versions will launch in April, which won’t need high-precision maps. Yu Chengdong said that Huawei should be far ahead in the field of the smart cockpit and smart driving.

Today, Huawei launched HarmonyOS 3.1 and Huawei P60 series is the first smartphone to pack this new HarmonyOS operating system with a brand lock screen feature.
Yes, HarmonyOS 3.1 allows users to customize the lock screen with new options and always-on-display features. This version supports 3D dynamic weather widgets, which enable you to easily obtain time, weather, date, notifications, and other information with AOD.
This new HarmonyOS software also has a new software user experience designed for Huawei devices and it also supports new camera optimizations.

According to Huawei, the HarmonyOS operating system deleted over 3.6 million malicious applications and 200 million malicious attacks every day. This is a step to ensure that the smartphone remains safe in all conditions.
