Huawei joins hands with China Jewelry firm to produce luxury smartwatches

Huawei has recently signed a cooperation agreement with the China Gem and Jewelry company to produce premium-level smartwatches. It looks like the Chinese tech giant plans to use precious metals to develop its future wrist gadgets.

According to the information, Huawei held a signing ceremony at the Huawei Bantian Base in Shenzhen on March 19 to accomplish the agreement task.

The Director of Huawei Devices module business department – Li Feng and the Chairman of the China Jewelry Import and Export Co., Ltd., – Wang Xingmeng signed the agreement on behalf of both firms and raised a toast to their partnership.

China National Gem & Jewellery Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd. is a professional jewel company. The firm runs jewelry and raw material import as well as export businesses. On the flip side, the company promotes all kinds of jewel products around the world.

Eventually, the jewel firm announced on its public account that Huawei has teamed up with China Jewelry to develop a series of jewelry-grade light, luxury, and precious metal smartwatches. Perhaps, we may soon see innovative products on board.

This further marks an official entry of the Gem firm into the wearable field. Moreover, the jewelry company says that this cooperation will lead to a significant development of smartwatches. It will broaden the fashion and styling aspects. Also, Huawei’s smart movements will make these products more useful.

Huawei Watch Ultimate Gold Edition

In September last year, the Chinese tech giant amazed its users with the Huawei Watch Ultimate Gold Edition. The inputs reveal that the watch uses 18K gold on the bezel, crown, PVD strap, and butterfly buckle for a shiny and lustrous appearance.

Notably, the wearable has a price tag of 21999 yuan and also supports two-way satellite-SMS functioning. Apart from the outlook, the device contains the same features as the standard Huawei Watch Ultimate.

With a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED screen and a bunch of health-oriented features, the device impressively draws consumers’ attention towards it.
