Huawei is building corporation with Foton Motors in autonomous driving field

Huawei is building a corporation with Foton Motors in the autonomous driving field and also planning to expand their corporation, says a media report.

As per the information coming from Chinese media, an executive from Foton Motors said on a social media platform that they are working with Huawei to carry out introductory cooperation to explore the technology related to autopiloting.

Furthermore, it also revealed that both firms will discuss related technology including smart cockpits, ethernet, and radar, etc. It’s noteworthy that Huawei already has advanced level radar technology, which we have seen in the ArcFox Alpha S jointly made by Huawei and BAIC.

 

To be mentioned, Foton Motor Group, popularly known as Foton Motors is a Chinese vehicle maker company and a subsidiary of the BAIC Group. Foton Motors is known to design trucks, buses, sport utility vehicles, and agricultural machines.

Also, the ArcFox Alpha S HI version has been entered the mass production phase and the company aims to ship 1,000 orders by the fourth quarter of 2021 due to the overwhelming orders. (Read Full Story)
