Huawei invites global users to participate in OlympusMons Award 2022 contest

Huawei is organizing the OlympusMons Award 2022 competition for its global users. Currently, the company is inviting its consumers from all corners of the world to participate in this ultimate contest and win amazing prizes.

The main aim of this contest is to enhance the structure of the data theories and to provide major solutions to the technical troubles in this matter. On the other hand, it also accelerates new scientific inventions and industrial collaboration.

Consequently, the Huawei OlympusMons Award 2022 will comprise two difficult challenges for global users. Participants have to tackle and offer an appropriate solution for these difficulties. Thereafter the jury panel will select and announce the winners.

Challenges:

1. Data Infrastructure with Maximum Energy Efficiency

In this field, candidates have to manage the high workload and several devices and innovative applications in the data centers. Further, they have to fulfill the demand for qualified data processing and energy savings.

Alongside this, they have to research data-centric, network storage computation, heterogeneous virtualization, and other related data services. Eventually, this will form a unified data architecture with optimal energy efficiency.

2. Data Storage with ultimate Per-Bit cost efficiency

In this matter, contestants have to figure out a way that can tackle excessive data growth. Generally, a large amount of data blocks the storage systems. Thus, they have to establish a cost-effective data storage that can easily store data without any lags in the system.

Additionally, the company will declare the following awards: 2 OlympusMons Awards, and 2 OlympusMons Pioneer Awards. Thereafter, the winners/teams will be given a prize money of 1 million yuan.

Besides, they will also get a chance to create technical communication channels with the Olympus Innovation Lab and will gain learnings for scientific research.

The registration and submission of projects will take place till December 10. Further, the juries will score the projects from December 10 to December 20. Finally, the award ceremony will take place in January 2023.
