Huawei introduces Petal Maps 5.0 update with a new Golf map mode

Huawei is rolling out a new Petal Maps 5.0 update for its users with various interesting features and navigation capabilities. The company has upgraded the application with add-ons like outdoor bus-subway, exploration mode, and a Golf map mode.

The Chinese tech giant keeps on updating its apps and services. But in the latest edition, it has upgraded the Petal Maps to make it compatible with HarmonyOS 5.0 devices.

According to the details, Huawei Petal Maps 5.0 has enhanced the vertical view of the map. The section now has three new features: Golf map, hiking, and red wine.

• Golf Map: This mode focuses on the golf course surroundings and shows fairway layouts, site facility details, and more. On the Petal Maps home page, click on the search bar and select Golf.
• Hiking: This map model can filter routes as per your needs. It offers details like mileage of hiking routes, visit time, popularity, route features, highlights, and more. Just search ‘Hiking’ in the bar.
• Red Wine: It mainly checks the nearest local winery resources alongside details like number, introduction, development history, production area, grape varieties, and more.

Apart from these new additions, the company has optimized the Indoor Floor map, where it can locate the floor and current location precisely.

On the flip side, the enhanced Outdoor Bus and Subway navigation will enable users to directly search for the bus or subway names irrespective of the country.

The app now helps users to easily hail a taxi at their current location or from a different location. One can even reserve a taxi to meet different travel habits.
