Huawei introduces AI data lake solution to escalate enterprise intelligence
Huawei has launched a new AI data lake solution to boost the intelligence power for enterprises. The company also discussed the advantages of the new AI solution and how it can help make the company’s storage product line better for consumers.
On April 29, Huawei attended the 4th (IDI) Innovative Data Infrastructure Forum in Munich, Germany. The President of Huawei Data Storage Product Line, Zhou Yuefeng, revealed how AI can boost data storage intelligence in the industry.
Zhou said that digital transformation can’t replace the importance of data. He added that AI-ready data must first be data-ready to deepen the industry digitalization.
AI data Lake Solution is a combination of data storage + management, resource management, and AI tool chains to efficiently provide a high-quality AI corpus, and faster model training, as well as accurate reasoning efficiency.

Data Storage: The first component helps in accelerating AI model training, offering efficient storage for massive AI data, backup AI corpus, and vector database. It uses OceanStor A series storage solution to improve cluster training efficiency.
The section also has OceanStor Pacific all-flash distributed storage with a capacity density of 4PB/2U and backup storage to protect data and offer 99.99% ransomware attack detection accuracy.
Data Management: Huawei has used Omni-Dataverse (unified data space) to break down data silos in situations where data centers are available in multiple locations.
Resource Management: The company’s new solution offers efficient xPU resource pooling and intelligent scheduling capabilities to improve resource utilization. It also looks after AI operations and work as an AI inspection expert.
