Huawei improving Pura X theme features via new HarmonyOS 5 update

Huawei Pura X is receiving a new HarmonyOS 5.0 update that significantly improves theme-related features. It enhances the visual effects of the cute little pet theme and makes it more interactive for users. It also optimizes some third-party apps.

Pura X foldable supports three theme modes: Computational Art, Bumper Park, and Cute Pets. The third one shows a cute pet on the cover screen to wake you up in a good mood every day. You can play with it, watch it wag its tail, and do somersaults.

In the latest scenario, Huawei is improving the Pura X theme features via a new update. It is optimizing its display status based on users’ feedback. The company is also adding a quick Control Center gesture that will let you slide easily between Quick Settings and the Notification Panel.

You don’t have to leave the Control Center to see your notifications. Just swipe left or right and access the features you want. Huawei has improved the on and off-screen scenarios during an ongoing call.

Moreover, Pura X now supports a ‘cover screen application debugging tool’ in the developer options. The feature, when enabled, will allow users to add more apps to the cover screen. These features come with the HarmonyOS  5.0.1.13 version.
