Huawei HarmonyOS PC could go official in April

Huawei could unveil the most-awaited notebook product – HarmonyOS PC in April. The company is preparing several offerings to launch in the first half of this year. One of them is seemingly PC-based software that may debut in the coming months.
FixedFocus suggests that the Huawei HarmonyOS PC could go official in April 2025. The tipster hints at two flagship notebooks coming alongside the PC software.
The leak implies that HarmonyOS PC will launch in late April with two new MateBook products codenamed with an ‘H’ letter. These notebooks will likely pre-install the computer-dedicated software and offer a different experience over Windows PC.
Previous revelation said that Huawei may unveil an Ultra notebook with its PC-dedicated software. Now, the new input adds more insights on this matter.

Many netizens speculated that the two flagship laptops could be MateBook X Pro 2025 and a new line called Hunter Gaming PCs. While the former may bring more interesting AI features over its predecessor, the latter will focus on improved gaming.
Others said that the flagship products might belong to the company’s tablet family. Although the tech giant hasn’t marked a confirmation stamp on these speculations.

Early inputs reveal that the HarmonyOS PC has almost completed its making. It has even initiated the public beta development and tested support for Windows apps.
Yu Chengdong, Chairman of Huawei Consumer Business, said last year that the next-gen MateBooks will run on HarmonyOS. It seems the company is ready to unveil its first laptop running on its self-developed computer-based software.
Huawei hasn’t announced an official timeline for the HarmonyOS PC debut. But many leaks suggested that the product will launch in H1 2025. Perhaps we may see the Nova 14 series, new MateBooks, and HarmonyOS PC sharing the stage in late April.
