Huawei HarmonyOS exceeded 320 million installations

Today, at HDC 2022 event, Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO – Yu Chengdong announced that HarmonyOS operating system has now exceeded 320 million installations in devices along with a 113% on-year progress.

On the other hand, Huawei’s third-party electronic devices’ operating system HarmonyOS Connect has also touched new heights with 250 million installations and a 212% on-year increase in devices that are launching with this OS.

This is a major development, as Huawei HarmonyOS ramps up 320 million installations, it’s time that we look forward to the next goal and its expansion towards the global market. However, Huawei has not revealed anything specific on this matter.

Meanwhile, over 2 million developers have already joined the HarmonyOS ecosystem development community and 2200+ partners for HarmonyOS Connect, as well as 25,030 APIs are open for Huawei mobile services & HMS Core, while the progress of HarmonyOS’s global apps has seen over 80% growth rate.
