Huawei HarmonyOS 5 and 5.0.1 Devices and Rollout Timeline
Huawei has announced that previously launched devices will be upgraded to HarmonyOS 5, followed by an incremental software update version 5.0.1. This new HarmonyOS is powered by HarmonyOS NEXT, a native app based on previous HarmonyOS for smartphones.
HarmonyOS 5 has reworked throughout the software from Ark engines for smoother graphics and animations across the UI. It has fast loading and interactions for native apps developed by thousands of top Chinese firms and entertainment providers.

HarmonyOS 5.0.1 devices and timeline
This update will be available for all HarmonyOS 5 devices in the second quarter and the first batch includes the following models:
