Huawei global smartwatch sales have surpassed 200 million units

Huawei has officially announced that its smartwatch sales have recorded a figure of 200 million units in the global market. The company has achieved a new milestone in the wearable device race, thanks to innovative features and attractive designs.

The CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group, He Gang, revealed that the global smartwatch sales have surpassed 200 million units. The executive has shared the cumulative data as of last week, revealing its success in the worldwide wearable field.

Over the past 12 years, Huawei has been serving in the wearable segment. It has introduced many interesting, fun, and significant health-based watch models in the market.

At the same time, the company focused on integrating new features and AI capabilities to boost its wearables’ performance and offer a comprehensive experience to users.

Whether we talk about appearance (Watch GT 5 series), luxury (Watch Ultimate), health monitoring (Watch D2), smart bands (Band 10), or sports and workout freaks (Watch Fit 3/4), the company has offered a wide range of wearables to consumers.

Sharing the news on Weibo, Huawei said:

“Huawei’s wearable devices have shipped more than 200 million units worldwide, using the power of technology to protect physical and mental health, and accompany global users to enjoy and bloom their passions.”

A recent IDC report has also shared the company’s achievements in the global wearable sector and ranked it first for the highest smartwatch shipments worldwide.

The company has shipped nearly 10 million smartwatches in the first three months of this year. It defeated many global rivals like Xiaomi, Apple, and Samsung, and stood out in the market for its amazing wearable products full of AI capabilities.

Huawei is seemingly exploring better technologies for its wearables that can ease consumers’ needs related to health. The best example in this case is the Watch 5, which has introduced X-Tap technology. It would be worth seeing what the future Huawei smartwatches will bring on the floor.
