Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 Snake Year Collector’s Edition hits first sale

FreeBuds Pro 4 Collector’s Edition brings a few exclusive offerings. Unlike the standard variant, the new edition has a snake engraving on the charging case.

Details show a snake coiled around a copper coin. The snake here resembles the new year (2025). The coin symbolizes wealth, blessings, and good luck for consumers.

Users will witness a unique pop-up theme while pairing the earbuds with the smartphone or tablet. The device is available in two colors: Spruce Green and Obsidian Black. It is available for 1499 yuan with a free Super Music VIP card for 6 months.

Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 earbuds measure 29.1 x 21.8 x 23.7mm and weigh 5.8 grams. Meanwhile, the charging box weighs 47 grams with a dimension of 46.9 x 65.9 x 24.5mm. The overall design of the device is identical to the previous generation except for the ear handles, which show a grille-like pattern.

The device runs on the Kirin A2 chipset and features 48kHz/24bit lossless transmission of audio sources. It is the first earphone to support 2.3Mbps lossless transmission in the industry and can support HarmonyOS 4.3 and above handsets.

FreeBuds Pro 4 is powered by Huawei Yuezhang (SOUND) brand and offers an immersive audio experience in all scenarios. One can use two-way silent calls for a clear audio experience even when they are in a noisy environment.

Device Control Gestures:

• Double Tap: Play/pause/next song/previous song/wake up voice assistant/answer/hang up call.
• Tap three times: Previous song/Next song
• Slide: Slide up/down to adjust the volume
• Long press: turn on/off noise reduction/wake up voice assistant
• Press and pinch: A single press can play/pause, answer/hang up the call.
• Press twice: switch to the next song/hang up the call
• Press thrice: switch to the previous song

In terms of battery life, the earbuds provide 33 hours of enjoyment at the best pace. It takes only 60 minutes to charge and offers 3 hours of music listening in 10 minutes of charging cycle.
