Huawei is preparing a new pair of wireless earbuds for the second half of this year, Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3. This will be the next generation of earbuds, which may offer better features than the second generation.

According to the information coming from a Weibo tipster, Huawei has a new FreeBuds Pro 3 earbuds for later this year around September 2023. But the tipster didn’t give any specifics about the earbuds.

Coming to the predecessor, Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+ launched in March of this year. Despite its new name and heart measurement technology, Pro 2+ looks similar to the FreeBuds Pro 2. There’s still an aesthetic change, which will help you to separate them both including gold outlines.

Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+ is the industry’s first TWS earphone with infrared and green light dual-band heart rate measurement and monitoring system.

These earbuds support continuous heart rate measurement and can turn on high-precision monitoring mode. With the use of the Huawei TruSeen heart rate fusion algorithm, the FreeBuds Pro 2+ can measure heart rate with high precision. It is tested by SGS, 10bpm accuracy of up to 95%.

These futuristic earphones are equipped with an 11mm four-magnet dynamic unit. The driving force is 30% higher than the predecessor and the low frequency dives to 14Hz while keeping the deep bass to amaze your ears.

Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+ also supports Huawei L2HC and the industry’s LDACTM dual high-definition audio decoding. It has received HWA and Hi-Res double gold standard certification.

Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+ supports HarmonyOS and Android dual ecosystem high-definition audio transfer. Meanwhile, the transmission rate can reach up to 960-990 kbps.

Currently, Huawei has not confirmed the launch date of Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 but we’ll keep you posted with all of the latest developments in this matter.
