Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 is getting improvements update in January 2025

Huawei is releasing the January 2025 update for the FreeBuds Pro 2 users as a New Year gift. The company packed the latest firmware with a set of new improvements. It also enhances the Bluetooth connection for a seamless user experience.

The newest software version improves the Bluetooth connection of the earbuds. Users will observe faster and more reliable pairing between the smartphone and the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 after installing the January 2025 update.

Being a 3-year-old device, it may often experience certain issues. Hence, it is better to download the newest rollouts to maintain the stability aspects of the device.

Inputs reveal that Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 is receiving the new update with the HarmonyOS 4.2.0.238 version and a software package of 4.0 Megabytes. It is seemingly rolling out for global users in batches and will soon be available to everyone.
