Huawei is preparing new earbuds for consumers including the FreeBuds Pro 2+ wireless earbuds, which recently appeared on the official AI life app. However, there is no additional information revealed from the app itself.

The appearance of the FreeBuds Pro 2+ is identical to what we’ve seen in the past week’s leak and information says the new version looks similar to the predecessor. As of now, the difference mainly stands in some highlights on the earbuds and the charging box, which is marked in gold color.

As you can see that the Charging box mentions that the audio is tuned by Frech audio technology company Devialet. It’s expected that this new pair of earbuds will boast better battery life and powerful noise-cancellation technology.

Heart Rate Measurement:

Aside from these inputs, the FreeBuds Pro 2+ could surprise consumers by bringing new advanced technology, heart rate measurement through the ear.

A leaked screenshot of the device’s settings reveals that Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+ can measure real-time heart rate, while the user will have to wear them in their ears. The feature is supported by options such as high heart rate reminder, low heart reminder, and high precision heart rate mode.

Currently, Huawei has not announced the launch date of FreeBuds Pro 2+ but it could go on stage alongside the Huawei P60 series.
