Huawei FreeArc hook-style earbuds are now officially making their debut in global markets. The company today launched the device in Malaysia and will soon bring it to more parts of the world. Let’s take a glimpse at the innovative earphones.
The company has already announced the hook-type earsets in Japan. Now, it has launched the FreeArc for global consumers with strong battery life and AI calls.

Specifications
Dimension: Huawei FreeArc measures 45.4 x 18.35 x 47.50mm while its box has a dimension of 67.80 x 67.80 x 26.50mm. Each bud weighs 8.9 grams. Whereas, the charging box weighs 67 grams. It also has a tri-color indicator.
Huawei FreeArc makes its global debut in a special hook-style form factor. The device has curvy ear handles that easily hook above your ears. Besides, it has a 140-degree optimal triangle that ensures a secure fit regardless of your physical activity.
The company has crafted FreeArc earbuds with an analysis of over 10000 auricle curves. It uses a 0.7mm high-performance Ni-Ti alloy for durable and seamless flexibility while wearing the device around your ears without feeling any pain.

Speaking of buds and ear handles, Huawei has used:
- Soft liquid silicone buds
- S-shaped curvy handles to reduce pressure on the tragus
FreeArc earbuds are available in three shades: Green, Black, and Grey. These buds offer good-quality sound that keeps you alert about sounds in your surroundings.

Driver Unit: Huawei has used a 17 x 12mm highly-sensitive driver unit with a symmetrical acoustic structure, dynamic bass algorithm, and adaptive equal-loudness algorithm. These parts deliver booming bass, vocals, and high-frequency sounds.
Reverse Sound Waves System: The company has used an in-built acoustic bean that accurately transmits the sound waves into your ear canal so that your calls can remain private without being leaked.
AI Crystal-Clear Calls: A prime dual-mic framework and triple call noise cancellation ensures that you can hear the call clearly even when outside your home.
Ultra-long-range Connection: Huawei has used a dual-resonator antenna that provides a connection of 400m easily. You can stay connected with your phone or tablet in a 400m runway or a 100m.sq. office area.

Battery and Charging
Huawei FreeArc makes a global debut with a 55mAh battery for each bud and a 510mAh battery for the charging case. It supports wired charging with USB-C. A 10 minutes of power-up can enable you to listen to 3 hours of music playback.
Device Controls:
- Swipe: Swipe forward or backward: Raise/lower volume
- Double-tap: Play or Pause audio or answer/end a call
- Triple-tap: Play the next track
- Press and hold: Reject a call
Bluetooth 5.2, Hall sensor, CAP sensor, multi-EQ sound effects, SBC and AAC audio formats are other functionalities of the Huawei FreeArc earphones.
Price and Availability
Huawei FreeArc earbuds are priced at RM 599. The device is currently in the pre-order stage. Meanwhile, the free delivery or official sale will begin on 25 March.
