On January 15, 2020, Huawei has applied for a new trademark as NM Plus in China with application number 43836750 in China. The international classification of this trademark is 9 types of scientific instruments and the current status is applied for registration.

According to the previous information, Huawei has a trademark for Nano Memory (NM) card, which is Huawei’s unique technology for expandable storage. It’s similar to microSD but it is about 45% smaller in size.

As Huawei applied for NM Plus trademark so it is expected that it will be the upgraded version of Huawei’s NM micro memory card and could go for production to provide high transmission speed and offer large storage.

The NM memory cards are the same size as the Nano-SIM card tray so, they don’t need a separate tray in smartphones. Users can use either two Nano-SIM on their Huawei device or one Nano-SIM and one Nano Memory card.

The latest official reports disclose that Huawei confirmed its cooperation with Toshiba, an NM micro memory card manufacturer. Also, the ultra NM card holds 256GB of storage and a transmission speed of 90MB/sec.
