Huawei filed ‘Luban’ trademark, used on Nova 8 Pro limited edition

On May 21, Huawei applied for a new trademark for the name “Luban”, which internationally classified under the class 9 scientific instruments in China. On the other hand, the company has already received trademark authority on the “Huawei Luban” trademark on December 19, 2020.

About Lu Ban:

Lu Ban is the originator of Chinese architecture and carpenters. The name of Lu Ban has actually become a symbol of the wisdom of the ancient working people.

If we talk about Huawei, the company is famous for naming conventions driven by ancient Chinese names such as Kirin, Hongmeng, Kunpeng, and more. However there’s no confirmation whether Huawei really planning to use LuBan as a product.

Earlier this year, Huawei launched the King of Glory variant of Nova 8 Pro, which comes with s a big laser print of Luban on the cover side as well as the Huawei and King of Glory logo. The rest of the specifications of the Nova 8 Pro King of Glory version is similar to Nova 8 Pro.

Furthermore, the phone comes with a customized charger with Luban laser print and there are customized ringtones, themes, notifications, and more designed especially for this variant.
