Huawei expects to ship 250 million smartphones and 10 million Mate 30 series this year: Huawei President



On October 23, Huawei announced that it has so far shipped 200 million smartphone units globally, and the company has also predicted that this sales graph can go up to 250 million to close this year.

Kevin Ho, president of the handset product line at Huawei CBG said in an interview that Huawei Mate 30 series sales including both 4G and 5G version are expected to reach 10 million units or even more this year.

In the business results of Q3 2019, Huawei announced that smartphone shipment in the first three quarters of 2019 exceeded 185 million units, representing a year-on-year increase of 26%.

According to Huawei, as of October 22, Huawei completed 200 million shipments which is 64 days earlier than the same shipment achieved in 2018.
