Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro 5G receiving HarmonyOS 2.0.0.221 software update

Huawei has kicked off the HarmonyOS 2.0.0.221 firmware update for Enjoy 20 Pro 5G smartphones. The new update for Enjoy 20 Pro mainly installs the security patch released in January 2022 for improved system security.

To download HarmonyOS 2.0.0.221 update, the Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro users required their corresponding running on base version 2.0.0.217. During this timeline, make sure that your smartphone will be charged at least 30% and have enough downloading storage.

As always with January 2022 security patch, Huawei fixes various levels of exploits and issues including 19 CVEs in the system and 111 CVEs found in the third-party libraries for better system security.

Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro 5G users can download the latest HarmonyOS update via go to phone settings then tap on system & updates, click on the software updates, tap on check for updates. Once the update prompt pop-up on your smartphone hit the download button and install it.
