Huawei Enjoy 10e smartphone grabbing March 2021 security update

Early this month, Huawei has kicked off a new software update for Huawei Enjoy 10e smartphone users. It brought new applications and features to the system that improves the user’s experience.

According to the previous changelog, it added a new smart message setting item, a hot recommendation folder on the desktop, and quick download icons for apps like Huawei Mall, Huawei Club, and Education Center.

Now, Huawei has begun sending another firmware update in the same month for Enjoy 10e. This update mainly installs the security patch released in March 2021 for improved systems security.

EMUI version:

  • Huawei Enjoy 10e receiving EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.0.185 upgraded from 10.1.0.184

Note:

  • The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
    EMUI version and size may vary.
  • Maintain enough battery and storage on your device.

Changelog:

Security: Integrates the Android security patch released in March 2021.

March 2021 Security Patch Details: This security patch fixes 2 critical, 13 high levels, and 132 medium levels of CVEs for improved system security.

HOW TO UPDATE:

Download via Settings:

  • Open Settings
  • Click on the System & Updates
  • Open Software update
  • Tap on Check for updates option
  • If an update is available, click on Download and install
  • After installation Reboot the device

Download via Support app:

  • Open the Support app on your device
  • Go to the Service tab
  • Click on the update button
  • Tap on Check for update option
  • If an update is available, click on Download and install
  • After installation Reboot the device

Aside from all this, Huawei Enjoy 10e smartphone’s hardware and software allow the device to run with the latest custom OS, EMUI 11. At the moment, the company has not confirmed any official information on this matter.
