Huawei has published the January 2023 EMUI security patch details and the Chinese tech giant has reshuffled the devices for monthly and quarterly time spans.

According to the information, January 2023 EMUI security update brings fixes for 4 issues in critical condition, 24 high, and 7 medium-level vulnerabilities. On the other hand, the security patch also includes fixes CVEs that were a part of the previous updates.

Currently, Huawei has not initiated the latest security update for its smartphones but we may soon witness the rollout. Until then we suggest you check the Huawei devices for January 2023 EMUI security update.

Interestingly, Huawei has not mentioned some of the important smartphones in this list such as the Huawei P30 series. On the flip side, we can’t confirm whether the unlisted phones won’t receive further software updates, as they may reappear.

How to update:

Huawei users can download the latest software update via system settings or via the My Huawei app. However, Huawei phone users are suggested to back up important data and maintain sufficient storage on the device before installing the new firmware.
