After a long time, Huawei has started to let users participate in the EMUI 13 beta program in Europe. This is quite unusual activity, as we’ve been waiting for a stable rollout but still, it’s good to at least test the latest version on a few devices ahead of the stable rollout.

According to the information, EMUI 13 beta users in Germany will get the first slot in the Europe bookings. Therefore, enrollment is possible for the following smartphones including Huawei P50 Pocket, P50 Pro, Nova 10, Nova 10 SE, and Mate 40 Pro. Given the fact that this is a closed beta testing, there are only a handful of devices selected for the first batch.

Huawei Community:

Recently, Huawei Community made a post about EMUI 13 beta and later removed it. There’s no reason behind this but the information was seen by Huaweiblog before being erased.

The registration of EMUI 13 for these devices officially started on June 28. Users can post their registration application until the first half of July. The evaluation will take some time to rollout beta build via the OTA method for the participants. The update will come in batches and may take some.

EMUI 13:

The beta program will allow you to experience all of these new functionalities ahead of public release. The new highlights of the EMUI 13 include the swipe-up app gesture, which allows you to access key features without even opening the app first. Other than that, Huawei is adding new service widgets, which allow you to check all of the app information at a glance directly from the home screen.

Moving on, the new smart folders bring the capability to adjust the size of the large folder layout. Features such as group and stack widgets enable you to manage the home screen. Furthermore, Huawei has improved the efficiency and the speed of the entire software, bringing faster app loading and task execution.
