Huawei denies US trip rumor of Rotating Chairwoman

Huawei has officially denied the rumor of its new Rotating Chairwoman, Meng Wanzhou visiting the US on a business trip, confirming that she has not said anything on this matter or she had anything planned.

Ahead of this, it was rumored that the rotating chairwoman of Huawei could mark a trip to the US for a business perspective in order to establish ties. However, these are now formed as rumors, which makes sense.

During the Annual Business Report, Meng Wanzhou said in an interview that her personal case in the US is over. Also, Huawei employees conduct business trips as usual.

Rotating Chairwoman:

Meng Wanzhou officially started her duty as Huawei’s rotating chairwoman on April 1st. She is now in charge of all of Huawei’s decision-making structure for the next four months.

On April 19, 2023, she officially started her first major event for Huawei – the 2023 Global Analyst Summit.  She also delivered a keynote with the theme “Digitalization is a blue ocean for the whole industry,”. She also announced that Huawei will keep investing in domains like connectivity, computing, storage, and cloud.

“We aim to provide our customers with a digital infrastructure that has the simplest possible architecture with the highest possible quality – that delivers the best possible experience at the lowest possible costs. Our goal is to help organizations go digital in four stages: digitizing operations, building digital platforms, enabling platform-based intelligence, and putting intelligence to use. She also shared the three takeaways from Huawei’s 10 years of digital revolution experience including strategy, data, and intelligence.
