This is a significant rollout for the old smartwatch as it packs various changes and optimizations for every section of the device. Meanwhile, the software build is rolling out in China in batches and will take some days to cover all the units in the region.

Speaking of the firmware version, the Huawei Children’s Watch 3 Pro is getting the January 2024 update with HarmonyOS 1.1.0.888 version. Though users must have the baseline build 1.1.0.840/866 to upgrade to the latest software.

In terms of changes, the update optimizes the video calling experience as well as messaging operations. Besides, it improves the precision of time zone data in some aspects. Thus, you won’t deal with crashes or lags while performing these tasks.

On the greener side, the company has added security patches to the device for maintaining the safety of your wearable. It further targets hidden bugs and defects, offering a glitch-free experience to device owners.
