Huawei Chairman encourages team for next-level innovation after Mate 70

Huawei Consumer Business Group Chairman Yu Chengdong is encouraging its team to buck up for the next-level innovation following the Mate 70. The new Weibo post hints that the executive is eager to welcome 2025 with extraordinary products.

The company has recently shared a Mate 70 Pro+ video on Weibo flaunting its exclusive Gold-Silver Brocade color. Later, Yu Chengdong reposted the clip, praising its team for the most powerful Mate smartphone creation in history.

At the same time, the Huawei Chairman encouraged the phone-making team to get ready for the next-level innovation after the Mate 70 series. He said:

“Brothers, well done! Keep up the good work and find the next future together!

Yu Chengdong is constantly giving hints about unexpected products coming next year. Even though the official didn’t mention anything clearly, it looks like Huawei has some fascinating devices in the pipeline to unveil in 2025.

Mate 70 Pro+: the premium look!

Huawei has adopted the industry’s leading high-gloss titanium basalt body structure for the Mate 70 Pro+ smartphone. This implementation not only makes the device beautiful but also tougher than previous-gen models against damage.

The overall architecture combines three main components:

• High-gloss titanium middle frame: This addition doubles the drop and wear resistance for Mate 70 Pro+.
• 2nd-gen Kunlun Glass: The extremely powerful coating on the device’s front face makes it 20 times tougher against falls. It also supports an IP69 rating.
• Ultra-durable nylon fiber back cover: The special nylon fiber increases the strength of back resistance by 5 times.

Apart from the basalt body architecture, the Mate 70 Pro+ is full of many innovative features. For instance, the quad camera system including a tiny multi-spectral lens. This sensor offers accurate color restoration irrespective of the lighting.

Kirin 9020 and HarmonyOS NEXT are also a part of this innovative device. Now the company is busy with Pura 80 preparations. It would be worth seeing what new upgrades the lineup brings over the previous flagship models.
