Yu Chengdong, the CEO of Huawei Smart Car Business Group revealed that China’s L3 autonomous car driving technology standards are expected to launch by the end of this month.

The latest revelation from Huawei’s car chief came at the Avita Technology Conference at the 2023 Chongqing Auto Show. Currently, Chinese vehicles are using L2-assisted driving, including Tesla and other models.

During the launch of the AITO M5 smart driving version in April, Yu Chengdong mentioned that the car is equipped with HUAWEI ADS 2.0 intelligent driving system. The autonomous driving experience matches the L2 advanced smart driving system level.
