The company launched Pangu Model 5.0 at HDC 2024 with a diverse range of features and parameters like a visual model, prediction model, multi-style model, natural language model, and scientific computing model.
On the other hand, DeepSeek is a Chinese AI startup. The latest model from the company called DeepSeek R1 inference performance relies on Ascend 910C chips.
Huawei has used Pangu models for some smartphones, but with the Pura X, the OEM changed its AI strategy and introduced Pangu + DeepSeek AI fusion.
