HarmonyOS PC is yet to debut officially but looks like, the computer-dedicated is undergoing public beta development. The company is seemingly speeding up the progress of innovative software that may eliminate its dependency on Windows.

As noted by Weibo tipster @FixedFocus, Huawei has already conducted some semi-public tests of the HarmonyOS PC. The company scheduled one of these tests in December last year and proceeded with other internal testing of PC software.

Simply put, Huawei seemingly began public beta development of HarmonyOS PC. It may soon step on the consumer platform officially with new capabilities.

Further input reveals that Huawei has initiated another round of finding bugs in the software system. The company is allegedly testing its first PC-based software to make it stable and more reliable before launching it officially in the market.

It is unclear when Huawei’s PC software will debut on the consumer stage. But the leak states that Huawei is gearing up the HarmonyOS PC preparations and may bring interesting surprises with its first computer-dedicated software in the future.

Huawei Consumer Business Group Chairman – Yu Chengdong said that the company will launch its next-gen computers with HarmonyOS software instead of Windows. Perhaps this year’s MateBook may get the new software blessing.

An early leak predicted that the HarmonyOS PC could launch in the first half of this year. Based on the current revelations, Huawei may unveil the new PC OS by June 2025.

The company hasn’t confirmed these details or made any major announcement on the HarmonyOS PC so far. However, we can expect official inputs or more new revelations on this matter in the coming weeks. Stay tuned.
