Huawei automotive solution business revenue surged by 4 times in 2024
A new report says that Huawei Smart Automotive Solution Business revenue has increased by 4 times in 2024. The company has not only taken the lead in the smartphone industry but also gained success in the smart car solution business.
National Business Daily – a Chinese newspaper noted that Huawei Automotive Solution Business revenue reached new heights in 2024. The overall revenue has surged by 4 times compared to the last year – thanks to newly launched car solutions.
On the flip side, the HarmonyOS-powered smart car shipments also rose by 7 times this year. The company collaborated with several carmakers and offered dynamic SUVs to consumers. It jointly introduced brands like STELATO and MAEXTRO.
AITO, Luxeed, and other HarmonyOS-backed smart car sales significantly contributed to Huawei Smart Automotive Solution Business and brought it to a new level.
Yu Chengdong – the Chairman of Huawei Smart Automotive Business earlier said that the company’s smart car business will welcome profit this year. He uttered that from April onwards, the company will achieve positive growth in the smart car solutions business. It looks like the OEM really turned the table.
In April 2024, Huawei unveiled a series of advanced smart driving solutions – Qiankun. It is full of new-gen technologies like ADS 3.0, XHUD 2.0, XPIXEL, and more.
Among these, ADS 3.0 has grabbed the most attention in the Chinese smart car market. The autonomous driving solution comes with anti-collision as well as remote parking services. It runs on the GOD (General Obstacle Detection) that avoids collision with pedestrians and parks the car even in the driver’s absence.

Huawei is now planning to merge its Automotive Solution Business Unit into the NewCool unit on January 01, 2025. Some people said that Huawei has transferred many of its employees from the Automotive Solution Business Unit to the NewCool.
