Huawei Assistant testing new features with 14.1.7.200 public beta update

Huawei Assistant app is receiving a new public beta update with the build version 14.1.7.200. With this release, the company is enabling users to test a handful of features and notification optimizations for an excellent and reliable user experience.

The Chinese tech giant has opened the Assistant app’s testing till April 29. Thereafter the OEM will give some final touch-ups to the app, before the official release.

Interested users can sign up for the Huawei Assistant 14.1.7.200 public beta activity via the AppGallery and look out for the newest additions in advance. One can also report bugs/glitches or their feedback to improve the overall application usage.

A major highlight of this update is that Huawei has added the Didi ride and China Railway 12306 with voice broadcast feature support. As of now, you can hear about the notifications through your headsets without keeping an eye on the app.

Optimizations:

  • 12306 train service alert: Some train notifications support the earset voice broadcast feature. It can also appear on the external screen of folding phones.
  • Didi/Petal travel alert: Supports real-time taxi ride reminders and some alerts even support earphones voice broadcast.
  • Optimized display of images and text tags for hot/latest/trendy word search.
  • Parking notification: Optimized the parking widget-style display
  • Movie notification: Fixed the issue of repeated movie alerts
  • Battery widget: Optimized the battery card and newly adapted Nearlink stylus battery display.
