Huawei applied for NovaPad and NovaBook trademarks, likely to be tablet and notebooks respectively

At present, Huawei has the Nova series for smartphones in which the company released mid-range or budget smartphones for consumers. The offering of this section devices always attracts the buyer toward them.

Now, Huawei has applied for two trademarks named NovaPad and NovaBook on April 28 and April 27 respectively in China. The international classification of these trademarks is scientific instruments, design research.

Back in January, Huawei registered for the Nova Watch trademark, which is still under process. For more information, the company also applied for the NovaBuds trademark to the European Patent Office in 2019.

Apart from this, to date, Huawei has only launched smartphones under the Nova segment, none other product is released yet in this section. At the moment, nothing is confirmed that whether the tablet, laptops, watch and earbuds will be debuted in the Nova series or not.

Huawei L420 notebook to launch at price of 3299 Yuan (515 USD)

Huawei’s upcoming notebook Huawei L420 has appeared on an e-commerce system – Xianyu at a price of 3299 Yuan, reported by Chinese media. Recently, it was also reported that Qingyun L420 will equip with a 5nm Kirin 9006C chipset.

Huawei Quingyun L420 features a 14-inch display with 2140 x 1440 resolution, 3:2 screen-body ratio, 8GB of LPDDR5 memory, along with 256/512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It measures 15.9 mm thick along with a weight of 1.45kg.

Huawei L420 3299 Yuan

This forthcoming laptop with a 5nm Kirin 9006C processor with 8-core specification, maximum check up to 3.13GHz, and the graphics card is a Kirin integrated graphics card. The memory of this notebook is Hynix 8GB LPDDR4-4266 memory, the hard disk is Samsung 256GB, and the system is Kirin desktop operating system V10.

In terms of connectivity, it supports 160MHz WiFi 6 network connectivity. It also offers input-output ports for HDMI, min RJ45 network port, 2 USB-A slots, and a headset interface along with a full-featured USB C.

Back in May, Huawei launched its first-ever mobile chipset-powered laptop, Huawei Qingyun L410, which is very similar to Huawei MateBook 14 with replaced HiSilicon Kirin 990 chip instead of AMD or Intel processor.

Huawei Qingun L410 laptop sports 14-inch 2k resolution display, 8GB+512GB memory storage combination, and UOS 2.0 operating system. It

has a better keyboard with a hidden camera under the function key, there’s also a powerful fingerprint sensor above the power key. To be mentioned it also has s separate security chip for data protection.

More interestingly, Huawei will likely upgrade this laptop with HarmonyOS operating system in the future, once it supports the PC platform.

Huawei has already launched a bunch of smart notebook series that comes with various capabilities and unique design aspects. By taking this initiative forward and bringing more uniqueness to its entire notebook series, Huawei may soon unveil its next notebook featuring a 5nm (nanometer) Kirin chipset.

According to a leaked poster, the next Huawei notebook – Qingyun L420 will equip with a 5nm Kirin 9006C chipset with octa-core specifications and a maximum clock rate of 3.13GHz. This notebook has an integrated graphics card, equipped with 8GB of LPDDR5 memory, along with 256/512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, as it supports 160MHz WiFi 6 network connectivity.

Huawei Quingyun L420 chipset brings a 14-ich display that has 2140 x 1440 resolution, 3:2 aspect ratio and it’s 15.9 mm thick along with a weight of 1.45kg. The previously launched Quingyun L410 chip was launched with Kirin 990 chipset and features a 14-inch 2k resolution display, featuring a Chinese Unified Operating system AKA UOS and for government and enterprise users.

The latest version of this laptop will bring more power and processing capability for the consumers. However, on the other hand, there’s no official available on the launch of this notebook from the official’s end.

Huawei is started delivering December 2021 HarmonyOS security update for Honor Pad X6 in advance. But the interesting thing is that December patch details are yet to be released by the company.

On the other hand, Huawei has recently published the December 2021 EMUI security patch details for smartphones and tablets running on the EMUI software systems. The Chinese tech maker will soon roll out this security update for its devices.

A few days ago, Huawei has sent the first December 2021 HarmonyOS security update is rolling out for Huawei Enjoy 2 tablet along with display optimizations. And now, the same update making its way to Honor Pad X6. More information about the new version and changelog is mentioned below.

HOW TO INSTALL:

To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.

Alternatively, you can also request software updates through the My Huawei app. To do this, open the My Huawei app, tap on the update, then select Check for updates, and then download and install.
