Huawei announces HarmonyOS 5.1 upgrade rollout time: Check Devices

On June 11, HarmonyOS 5.1 debuted with the Huawei Pura 80 series, and the company has announced the rollout time and eligible devices for this new upgrade. After the 5.0 software version, the OEM seems ready to push another major build.

Huawei revealed that the HarmonyOS 5.1 rollout time will begin in July for a limited number of flagship devices. The company has seeded the latest version in the Pura 80 series and promises a very different software experience than before.

The company will push the HarmonyOS 5.1 version starting with the top-end models of the family. The list includes the Mate 70 series, Mate 60, Pura 70, book-type, and vertical folding phones. A total of 19 models are in the first batch list.

Meanwhile, it will also bring the newest version to some compatible tablets and wearables. You can check the complete list of HarmonyOS 5.1 eligible handsets below.

The company is currently running the HarmonyOS 5.0 public beta program for its eligible devices. It is also updating around 400 native apps per day to make them compatible and comprehensive for users.

Although the company will soon initiate the stable HarmonyOS 5.0 update for its handsets. The version is already available to the flagship Pura X and Nova 14 models. It may start releasing the official 5.0 build by the end of this month.
