Huawei and SPIC signed strategic cooperation to boost AI growth

Huawei and SPIC (State Power Investment Corporation) recently signed a strategic cooperation to boost the growth of AI in various aspects. The two parties penned the agreement in front of senior officials in Shenzhen on April 02, 2025.
SPIC also known as China State Power Investment Corporation is one of the five largest state-owned electricity producers in China. It is involved in many fields like developing, operating, and managing power plants across 27 Chinese provinces.
It is also known for being the world’s largest photovoltaic, new energy and clean energy power generation company.
The SPIC Corporation has now joined forces with Huawei and inked a new cooperation agreement to integrate AI technology in power plants and offer even better services to customers.
As per the agreement, both parties will ensure AI inclusion as well as digital transformation in emerging industries, joint R&D institution construction, global business, corporate culture, and talent training.
Huawei’s digital and AI solutions will eventually help SPIC to develop its industry and revamp its quality. The State Power Investment Corporation will become more efficient via this agreement and joint innovation.
The information further reveals that SPIC will be able to create a world-class clean energy company with the help of Huawei digital and artificial intelligence solutions.
