Huawei and SAIC signed cooperation to develop a luxurious smart car

Huawei and SAIC have signed a new cooperation agreement on smart car driving technology. Both parties are further strengthening their partnership in the automobile field and aim to make another brand-new smart car for Chinese consumers.

SAIC has been planning to cooperate with Huawei for a long while. The firm was quite impressed with the new series of Huawei smart car solutions that not only offer a smarter driving experience but also protect drivers from rush and accidents.

Now SAIC has signed a cooperation with Huawei to develop a luxurious car model. Under this agreement, both companies will work in manufacturing, supply chain management, as well as sales and service sectors of the new product.

The cooperation ceremony was attended by the Huawei Smart Automotive Solution Business Chairman – Richard Yu, Jia Jinaxu – the President of SAIC Motor, and others.

As for Huawei’s responsibility in this agreement, the company will mainly focus on the smart car selection mode. In this sector, the company looks after the product definition, designing, marketing, and sales part.

Huawei and SAIC have been rumored to develop Shangjie brand cars in the coming months. Perhaps the new agreement is related to the respective projects. We may grab more details on this matter in the time ahead.
