DeepSeek AI is trending, and many Chinese companies including Huawei aim to produce new devices based on DeepSeek LLMs. A new report suggests that over 30 firms have initiated the development of machines embedded with smart capabilities.

Inputs reveal that Chinese firms like Huawei, Lenovo Group, Inspur Group, and more have started developing “all-in-one” server devices running on DeepSeek AI models.

The primary target behind this new initiative is to improve tech modification across the country. It will reduce the dependency of China on foreign AI alternatives.

CICC (China International Capital Corp) says that 5% of the Chinese AI server demand will be fulfilled from government sectors and fields like finance, public and healthcare services, and more. These sectors will use DeepSeek AI-powered devices to boost the Chinese server market up to $7.4 billion (54 billion yuan) in 2025.

Over 30 Chinese server companies have begun developing DeepSeek-based AI server boxes. These servers will eventually enable industries to meet the requirements of technical resources and integrate AI capabilities into their operational tasks.

As per the CICC report, these AI servers are gaining attention for being used at enterprises and satisfying security needs for sensitive and confidential data.

DeepSeek came into the spotlight with the launch of V3 and Huawei Ascend 910C-powered R1 LLM. It outpaced the top LLMs’ like ChatGPT, Gemini, Ernie Bot, and more. Being an open-source AI platform, it is easy and convenient to use.

Inspur Group has said that its all-in-one DeepSeek R1-based AI server enables users to run the reasoning model in various scenarios. It can further deploy at various scales from a 671-billion parameter version to a distilled 1.5-billion version.

Besides, Inspur machines can easily operate on both Nvidia H20 and Chinese AI processors. Although Chinese AI chip alternatives are the main source for these servers as they easily fulfill the Chinese regulations and customers’ demand.

Speaking of Huawei, the company introduced its first DeepSeek AI server last month, called Atlas 800I A2. Users can easily launch the DeepSeek V3 or R1 model in this server without any operational as well as maintenance costs.
