Huawei and China’s Sohu signs HarmonyOS native app development cooperation

Huawei and the Chinese Internet company Sohu have signed an agreement to begin HarmonyOS native app development. As per this cooperation, both parties will indulge in developing a new experience with HarmonyOS NEXT-based applications.

Sohu is a Chinese premier online brand that provides internet services to users. It runs several facilities such as search engines, online multiplayer gaming apps, news stations, video platforms, and other services. The firm offers community-based web 2.0 products to millions of Chinese users daily.

As of now, Sohu Internet company is shaking hands with Huawei to extend the HarmonyOS native app development progress. So far, the Chinese internet service provider has already indulged in this partnership for its News app.

In the latest edition, Sohu is making efforts to begin the HarmonyOS native app development for its Video platform. Meanwhile, the Sohu News app is at the edge of completing the HarmonyOS NEXT-based app beta version development.

During the HarmonyOS comprehensive cooperation ceremony, the CEO and founder of Sohu – Zhang Chaoyang said that the Huawei and Sohu partnership will not remain confined to technical terms but lead to the creation of innovative apps and services for consumers.

Everything combined, Huawei and Sohu’s cooperation will bring a rich and dynamic experience in the field of entertainment, communication, and interaction with HarmonyOS NEXT benefits.
