Huawei AITO M9 2025 to feature in-vehicle satellite communication

Huawei AITO M9 2025 will debut on March 20 with impressive features, like in-vehicle satellite communication. It is the first time that the company is seeding its satellite technology in cars to enhance connectivity and make SUVs more useful.

During the Huawei x MAEXTRO brand event last month, Huawei introduced Galaxy Communications for its upcoming smart vehicles. By the name, the new solutions help drivers make satellite calls or reply to satellite texts through the car.

It’s an in-vehicle satellite communication technology that lets you access calls and messages directly via car (no need for a phone) when you are in a low-network area.

The HarmonyOS Smart Driving Unit says:

“Explore without boundaries, connect without worries. Cross the endless desert and protect all-dimensional security. HarmonyOS Smart #AITOM9# Huawei Galaxy Communications, always protect each other’s connection.”

Galaxy Communications debuted with MAEXTRO S800. However, the OEM is now expanding the reach of its new smart solution to more cars. As per the new teaser, AITO M9 2025 supports Huawei satellite communication (calling) feature.

Huawei says that the latest car technology supports both ground and satellite communication capabilities. Users can share data from their cars to phones, tablets, and more.

The best part of this technology is, that even if you leave the car and stand 30 meters away from it, you can still complete calls. The active smart network selection and dual network dual-standby help it to achieve a three-network connection.

Galaxy Communication further understands the state of emergency. It makes satellite calls automatically for rescue with a suggestion: call the police if something happens.

What else the new in-vehicle satellite communication feature can do will be known on March 20.
