Huawei achieves ‘Top Employer’ certificate in Africa

Huawei has recently obtained the ‘Top Employer’ certificate in Africa. This is the fourth consecutive year that the company has obtained this achievement for its excellence in HR practices and commitment to an optimal workplace atmosphere.

According to the information, the Top Employer Institute has shared the list of Top Employer companies based on the HR Best Practices Survey. This program looked after six aspects like Steer, Shape, Attract, Develop, Engage, and Unite.

These categories are further divided into 20 themes including work environment, talent management strategy, training and skills development, well-being at work, diversity, and inclusion.

Eventually, Huawei scored well in all these criteria and achieved the ‘Top Employer’ certificate in Africa. Besides, the company has gained distinction on a national level among 10 countries in Northern Africa.

The CEO of the Top Employers Institute – David Pink said that the awarded companies have always shown dedication and care for their employees, and will continue to offer the same treatment with better facilities in the time ahead.

On the other hand, the Human Resources Director of Huawei Northern Africa – Andy Du said:

“Receiving this distinction for the fourth consecutive year reflects our ongoing commitment to promoting the well-being of our employees and our determination to establish a privileged work environment. It mirrors our social ambition at Huawei, focused on local impact in Africa.”
