Huawei 2nd tri-fold leak reveals launch timeline with new satellite features
Huawei is seemingly preparing to launch the Mate XT 2 smartphone in the second half of this year. A new leak has now shed more light on the release details, saying that the 2nd Huawei tri-fold can go official in September with new satellite features.
The leaked launch input follows the same timeline as last year’s Mate XT official unveiling. It looks like the Chinese phone maker will stick to the early September schedule, probably rivaling the Apple iPhone 17 series.
Weibo tipster @SmartPikachu says that the 2nd Huawei tri-fold is expected to launch in September this year with more functional satellite connectivity features.
According to the rumors, Huawei is testing low-orbit satellite connectivity this time for its upcoming flagship handsets. The company has teamed up with China Star Network to upgrade satellite communication to low-orbit internet technology.
