Honor X70 could debut with record-setting 8200mAh battery capacity

After the Magic V5, Honor is silently preparing the X70 mid-ranger with unique features and probably the largest battery – 8200mAh. According to a new leak, the company is ready to set new standards for smartphones in the battery game.
Weibo tipster @DigitalChatStation revealed that Honor has many devices to unveil in the coming weeks. And the surprise is, all these models pack the biggest batteries!
Starting with the foldable, Magic V5 will be the world’s first folding phone with a giant 6100mAh battery. MagicPad 3 may also debut on the ground with a 12,450mAh cell.
But apart from the flagship foldable and tablet, the OEM might be blessing a mid-range phone with the biggest battery to date. The tipster suggests that Honor will likely seed an 8200mAh battery to the upcoming X70 smartphone.

Honor X70 is expected to launch next month with interesting specs and a jumbo battery. While the company hasn’t confirmed the details yet, the leaks could turn out to be true.
Early rumors claimed a 6000+mAh battery for the Magic V5, and it seems to be right. Hence, we can expect a similar treatment for the Honor X70 handset as well.
A 3C listing has further confirmed that Honor is testing big batteries for its smartphones. It shows two cells with 8100mAh capacity. Both are made by different suppliers: Sunwoda Electronics and Honor.
Note that neither the leak nor the company has confirmed the device’s name for an 8000+mAh battery. But judging from the previous inputs and predictions, the device could belong to the X70 series.
