Honor is preparing to launch a new X series smartphone, Honor X50 and we’re looking forward to it. Adding to this, Honor X50 is now leaked in renders alongside new specifications details.

First is coming the render from a well-known tipster, it shows a round circular camera system on the rear. Although there are some optimizations it’s still quite identical to the Honor X40. However, the render hints towards a change on the front panel.

Surprisingly, Honor is turning its way towards a flat screen in Honor X50. Meanwhile, the predecessor combines a curved-edge display, which looks immersive. We don’t have any clue what’s going on in this matter but one thing is for sure the company wants to try something new for the Honor X series devices and the change reflects that newest strategy.

For your information, this isn’t the official press render and was manually crafted by the tipster based on the shared information. Currently, there is no information available about the launch of this phone but we expect it to unveil within a month or two. Until then, below you can check some of the key information about its predecessor.

Honor X40:

This phone equips a 6.67-inch screen and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset. The phone runs Magic UI 6.1 (Android 12) out of the box but is upgradable over MagicOS 7. There are two cameras including a 50MP camera (f/1.8 aperture) + 2MP camera (f/2.4 aperture). The phone is supported by a 5100mAh battery that could recharge with a 40W super fast charger.
