Back in June, Honor President Zhao Ming said the company’s first smartphone is coming from V series and today, in a Weibo post he confirmed that the first Honor 5G smartphone will be V30.
According to Zhao, Honor V30 will be the first Honor smartphone to run on the 5G network. Not only that, but the phone also supports SA/NSA networks similar to Huawei Mate 20 X 5G.
Additional information about this smartphone has not been revealed by Zhao but it could feature the upcoming Kirin 990 or Kirin 985 processor, which is yet to be launched at IFA 2019.
In terms of changes, Honor V30 could wield a new camera setup on the back and the design may also be changed along with new software version.
